​東京から日帰りで鎌倉に行って来ました。

[Tokyo kara higaeri de Kamakura ni
itte ki mashita]

I went to Kamakura from Tokyo by day trip.


行ったルートは
『報国寺 → 鎌倉宮 →
天園ハイキングコース →
​明月院 → 高徳院』です。

The places I went were
"Hokoku-ji → Kamakura-gu →

​鎌倉駅に着いたのは朝の10時ちょっと前でした。

Kamakura ni tsuita nowa

It was a little bit before 10:00 in the morning
when I got to Kamakura.




​​鎌倉駅のすぐ隣にある
『鎌倉市観光案内所』に行きました。

​

iki mashita]

I went to the "Kamakura Tourist Information Center"
right next to the Kamakura station.

ここで色々な国の言葉の地図も無料で貰えます。

You can also get the map with various different languages for free here.

この「鎌倉フリー手形環境」を買いました。

バスや江ノ電の『鎌倉 ⇔ 長谷』間の乗り放題に
​なるのでとてもお得です。

The price is 570en.
It is a very good deal
​as it is one-day unlimited ride
for the buses and

さっそくバスに乗って報国寺に向かいました。

I headed for Hokoku-ji(temple) taking the bus
straight away.

途中で抹茶とお菓子をいただきました。

I had maccha(green tea) and sweets on the way.

報国寺の竹林は本当に綺麗でした。

It was really beautiful bamboo forest at Hokoku-ji.

​報国寺から歩いて
『天園ハイキングコース』の入り口に
歩いて向かいました。

by foot from Houkoku-ji.

歩いている途中で「鎌倉宮」が
あったので寄りました。

I stopped at "Kamakura-gu(shrine)"
on the way while walking.

鎌倉宮から歩いて
天園ハイキングコースの入り口を見つけました。

I found the entrance to Ten-en hiking course
from Kamakura-gu by foot.

ゴールデンウィーク中でしたが
​人も少なくとても歩きやすかったです。

It was during the Golden Week but 
There were few people and
It was easy to walk.

しばらく歩くとこんなに
綺麗な景色が見えました。

I could see the beautiful view like this 
after walking a while.

この景色には感動しました。
緑の中に見えるのは「建長寺」です。
とても綺麗だったのでしばらく見ていました。

I was moved with this view.
You could see the "Kencho-temple"
among the green.
I was watching it for a while as it was so beautiful.

階段を下って行くと展望できる場所があって
そこからうっすらと
富士山を見ることが出来ました。

Climbing down the stairs and then there is the place 
where you can see the far away and
I could see Mt.Fuji faintly from there.

『江戸東京博物館』

​"Edo-Tokyo Museum"




​両国にある「江戸東京博物館」に
行って来ました!

ここは東京で私のお気に入りの場所です。

[Ryogoku ni aru "Edo-Tokyo hakubutsukan" ni
itte kimashita!

I went (and came back home) to 
"Edo-Tokyo Museum" in Ryogoku.

This is my favorite place in Tokyo.




JR「両国」駅西口から徒歩5分、

大江戸線「両国」駅出口A3から徒歩1分
という便利な所にあります。
​
[JR "Ryogoku"eki Nishi-guchi kara
toho 5-fun,
Oedo-sen "Ryogoku" eki
​dekuchi A3 kara toho 1ppun
​toiu benri na tokoro ni ari mas]

It is located convenient place, 
5 minutes walk from
the West Exit at JR"Ryogoku" station,
1 minute walk from
​the A3 exit at Oedo-line.

JR総武線の両国駅から行きました。
すぐに博物館が見えて来ます。

I went from Ryogoku station, JR Sobu-line.
You can see the museum right away.

​チケット売り場は階段を
上がった所にあります。
この小さい青い建物で買うことが出来ます。

The ticket counter is located after 
climbing stairs.
You can buy tickets at the small blue building.

ちなみにここは3階になります。

コインロッカーは1階にあるとのことで
1階に行って荷物を置きに行きました。
100円ですが後で戻って来ます。

100-en desuga atode modotte kimasu]

I heard the coin locker is located
​on the ground floor
so I went there to leave my bag and stuff.
It's 100-en but you can get it back later.

3階までまた戻りました。

I went back to the 3rd floor again.

ここでチケットを見せてエスカレーターで

入り口のある6階まで上がります。

Show your ticket here and 
go up to the 6th floor by the escalator.

​入り口から中に入ると
この大きい「日本橋」が見えて来ます。

You can see this big "Nihon-bashi" (Japan Bridge) 
after coming inside from the entrance.

​日本橋を渡るとミニサイズの江戸時代の様子が
わかる模型が見えて来ます。

Edo-jidai no yosu ga wakaru mokei ga

You can see the models which you can tell
how it was like in Edo-period 
after crossing the Nihonbashi-bridge.

分かります。

You can see how it was like 
about Edo castle and Edo period.

『江戸NOREN』

​"Edo NOREN"



​今日は「江戸東京博物館」を見に
両国に行きました。


[kyo wa "Edo-Tokyo hakubutsukan" o mini

I went to Ryogoku to see 
"Edo-Tokyo Museum" today. 



両国駅を出てすぐに今まで見たことがなかった
「江戸NOREN」という
新しい場所を見つけたので
入ってみました。


Ryogoku-eki o dete suguni
imamade mitakoto ga nakatta
"Edo-NOREN" to iu
atarashii basho o mitsuketa node
haitte mimashita]

I found the new place named "Edo-NOREN" which I've never seen before
as soon as I left Ryogoku station so
I went in this place for checking out.

実物大の土俵があり、その土俵の周りは
江戸時代を思わせるような
「フードコート」のようになっていました。


[jitsubutsudai no Dohyo(Arena for Sumo) ga ari,
sono Dohyo no mawari niwa
Edo-jidai(Edo-period) o omowaseru yona
"Food-Court" no yoni natte imashita]

There is the full-sized Dohyo(Arena for Sumo)
and it is like "Food-Court" around this Dohyo
and which makes you think of Edo-period.

普段こんな風に本物の土俵を近くに行って見る事は
なかなか出来ないと思うので
目の前で見る事が出来るのは
いい経験だと思います。

Usually I don't think you can go and see

I discovered the Nihon-shu(Japanse Sake) vending machine!!!
It was my first time to see it.
I was so suprised!

しかも、種類別に分けて
販売しています。
『純米酒』『吟醸酒』『大吟醸酒』と

3種類ありました。

hanbai shite imasu.
"Jyunmai-shu" "Ginjyo-shu" "Daiginjyo-shu" to
san-shurui ari mashita]

moreover, They sell them separately by type.
"Jyunmai-shu" "Ginjyo-shu" "Daiginjyo-shu"
There were three types.


  "Jyunmai-shu"
    = 
Sake made without added alcohol

  "Ginjyo-shu"
    = Sake brewed by
       low temperature fermentation
        from white rice milled to 60%


  "Daiginjyo-shu"
    = Sake brewed by
       low temerature fermentation
        from white rice milled between 40% t
o 50%

金曜日の午後、時間があったので
皇居に行きました。
午前中は雨だったのですが、
運がいいことに午後からはいい天気になりました。

Friday afternoon, I had time so
I went to the Imperial Palace.
It was raining in the morning but
Luckily it became a beautiful day
from the afternoon. 



桜の花もまだ満開だったので
​とても綺麗でした。

totemo kirei deshita.

Sakura(Cherry blossom) was still in full bloom so 
​it was so beautiful.

​皇居へはJR「東京」駅、
地下鉄東西線「大手町」駅、
地下鉄千代田線「二重橋前」駅
などから徒歩で行く事が出来ます。

Chikatetsu Chiyoda-sen "Nijyubashi-mae"eki

You can go to Kokyo(Imperial Palace) by foot from JR "Tokyo" station,

and so on.

​皇居のすぐ隣には
「丸の内」と呼ばれるエリアがあって
沢山のオフィスビルが並んでいます。

There is an area called
"Marunouchi" right next to the Imperial Palace 

and there are a lot of office buildings lining up.
​

松ノ木とオフィスビルが
並んでいる様子を
一緒にみるのは不思議な気持ちです。

issho ni miru nowa fushigi na kimochi desu]


I have a strange feeling to see
​a view of the Pine trees and the office buildings 

lining up together.

お堀の周りにあったしだれ桜も満開でした。

Shidare-Zakura mo mankai deshita]

The Shidare-Zakura (Wheeping cherry tree) around the mort was in full bloom.

染井吉野と比べてしだれ桜は
濃いピンク色をしています。


[Somei-Yoshino to kurabete Shidare-Zakura wa
koi pink-iro o shite imasu]

Compare to Somei-Yoshino
(normal cherry trees),
This Wheeping cherry tree has
dark pink colour.

​

とても綺麗な青空です。

It is very beautiful blue sky.

まだ時間があったので
東京の桜の名所の一つの「千鳥ヶ淵」に
行きました。

I still had time so
​I went to "Chidorigafuchi"
​which is one of the most famous places for Sakura in Tokyo.
